Import a playlist
Already have your tandas somewhere else? Bring them in. Tandabase tries to match every track against the discography database, if a match exists, the YouTube video comes with it automatically.

Supported formats
CSV
any spreadsheet
Five columns: orchestra, title, year, singer, genre
A blank row separates tandas. Export from Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets, any of them.
Apple Music XML
from your library
In Apple Music: File → Library → Export Playlist → XML
Cortinas inside the playlist act as tanda separators. So if you already build your sets in Apple Music, no extra work.
Exportify CSV
Spotify
From a Spotify playlist: exportify.net
Tandabase reads the track names and artists. Matching is fuzzier than the other two. Spotify metadata is less standardised.
The import flow
- 01
Open Import
Go to Create and click the Import button at the top of the page.
- 02
Drop your file
Drag the file onto the dropzone, or click to browse. The dialog detects the format from the extension and content, you don't have to tell it which kind it is.
- 03
Watch the match
Tandabase reads the file and runs each track through the discography. You'll see a preview: how many tracks were matched cleanly, how many couldn't find a match, and a list of both so you can scan before committing.
- 04
Confirm
Hit confirm. The tandas appear in the editor, ready to arrange. Matched songs come in with videos linked; unmatched songs still come in, they just don't have a video yet.
- 05
Save as normal
From here it's the same as any other set: title, cover, private/public, save. See create a set if you need the full flow.
- Use the orchestra's standard name. "Carlos Di Sarli", not "Di Sarli Orq.", not "C. Di Sarli". The matcher is forgiving but not magic.
- Include the year if you can. Lots of titles were re-recorded by the same orchestra in different years, the year disambiguates instantly.
- Drop accents and special characters if a row fails. The matcher normalises them, but corrupted exports sometimes mangle them in ways that break.
For songs that didn't match, you can add a YouTube link from inside the player, see fix a wrong video for that flow.
